Resident NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING AND PREVENTION UPDATE. Monthly Community Update from Sgt 131 Matt Wells – October 2026 Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you well. As we move through October, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving. 🔍 Local Priorities Our current focus areas include: High volume of thefts from shops in Milford Haven and surrounding areas Community Concerns have been raised in relation to drug activity and associated ASB in the vicinity of Milford Haven A range of Anti-social Behaviour incidents have been reported in Milford Haven.We’re continuing patrols and targeted operations in these areas and welcome any feedback or concerns you’d like to raise. 🤝 Partnership Working We’ve been working closely with: The Local Housing Association (ATEB) and Pembrokeshire County Council – we regularly assist each other in solving ASB issuesNeyland Community School Local shops – offering advice regarding the sale of fireworks, flour and eggs and other items that can be used is the commission of causing ASB, in the build up to the Halloween and Firework period.Youth workers – Officers have attended Milford Havens youth club and engaged with staff and youths and discussed ASB.Milford Haven Port Authority – in dealing with ASB and crime in and around the Milford Marina and Shopping areasThese collaborations are helping us respond more effectively and holistically to community needs. 🧑🤝🧑 Community Involvement Thank you to everyone who’s taken part in: Hate Crime Awareness Week – During the week commencing 10th October, Milford NPPT were involved in a number of events where Hate Crime discussions took place, raising awareness in the community.Bike Marking Event – held in Hakin on 24th OctoberCuppa with a Copper - 14th OctoberYour involvement makes a real difference.
